How NidhiSetu handles your personal data — plainly stated.

NidhiSetu is an independent EPFO consultation service operated by Shobhit Kesarwani (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy describes what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide EPFO resolution services:

  • Contact details: Name, mobile number, email address — provided when you message us on WhatsApp, email, or through Topmate.
  • EPFO-related information: UAN, PF account numbers, employer details, and case-related documents you share with us voluntarily for the purpose of resolving your EPFO issue.
  • Conversation records: WhatsApp messages and call notes related to your case, for case continuity and quality.
  • Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics (a privacy-focused tool) to understand website traffic in aggregate. No cookies are set. No personal data is collected by Plausible.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide EPFO consultation and resolution services for your specific case.
  • To communicate case updates and progress via WhatsApp or email.
  • To submit forms, grievances, and requests to EPFO on your behalf (only with your explicit approval and using official EPFO portals).
  • To improve our service quality.

We do not use your information for any marketing, advertising, or profiling purposes without your explicit consent.

3. What we never collect

  • We never ask for your UAN password, EPFO login credentials, Aadhaar OTP, bank OTP, ATM PIN, or net-banking login.
  • We never ask for credit card or debit card numbers.

If anyone claiming to represent NidhiSetu asks for the above, do not share it and contact us immediately.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the following limited cases:

  • EPFO portals and systems: Information necessary to file your case (forms, documents) is submitted to official EPFO portals — only with your explicit prior approval for each submission.
  • Legal requirements: If required to comply with applicable law, regulation, or a valid court order.

5. Data security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. Case documents shared with us are handled with care and are not stored longer than necessary. We recommend that you mask or redact sensitive information (such as bank account numbers beyond the last four digits) from screenshots before sharing them with us for review.

6. Data retention

We retain your case information for the duration of active case work plus a reasonable period for follow-up support. If you wish to have your information deleted, please write to us at shobhit@nidhisetu.co.in or message us on WhatsApp and we will process your request within 7 business days.

7. Third-party links

This website links to external sites including EPFO portals, Topmate, Quora, and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites.

8. Children

Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
