Follow this in order — skipping ahead usually costs more time, not less.
Check the DOE field for that employer on your UAN service history — if blank, this confirms the cause.
Ask them to mark your DOE via the employer portal — see the template below.
With your current employer, or a self-declaration route backed by your relieving letter/payslip.
A relieving letter plus proof the correction is filed usually satisfies the verification process while it's pending.
The 'active' status should clear from your service history once EPFO reflects the update.
