EEC, VISHWAS or AMNESTY 2026: which scheme does your establishment likely qualify for?

Seven yes/no questions. You get the scheme that likely applies, its last date, and a plain-English comparison of damages under the scheme against the normal section 14B levy. Deadlines and rates come from one config file, so this page is reused for future windows.

Answer each question for your establishment. Nothing is stored.

Do you have employees who joined between 1 April 2009 and 31 March 2026 and were never enrolled in PF?
Includes staff kept off the PF rolls, wrongly treated as excluded, or whose UAN was never generated.
Do you have PF dues that were paid late, or not paid, for any period before 14 June 2024?
Whether or not EPFO has issued a damages notice yet.
Has EPFO issued a section 14B damages notice or order, or started a 7A inquiry, for those old periods?
Was any of the default amount deducted from employees' salaries but not deposited?
Deducted-but-not-deposited is treated as misappropriation and is excluded from VISHWAS.
Does your establishment run its own exempted PF trust?
Are all your defaults from after 14 June 2024 only?
Can you deposit the principal dues (contributions) within the scheme window?
Every scheme needs the dues paid; only damages are reduced.

Questions about this tool

Can an establishment use both EEC and VISHWAS?

Often yes: EEC is about employees never enrolled; VISHWAS is about damages on dues that were late. They cover different problems and can both apply to one establishment.

What if fraud or misappropriation is alleged?

VISHWAS excludes cases involving fraud or misappropriation, for example deductions made from employees but never deposited. Those need a different route; send me the notice.

Are the rates on this page final?

Items marked "to be confirmed" are taken from the scheme announcements and will be updated once I have checked them against the scheme text. The normal 14B slabs are shown for comparison.

Does the checker store my answers?

No. It runs in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to WhatsApp me the result.
